A Lake Country resident since 2010, Marybeth Hewatt is the Chief Marketing Officer of Alliance Home and Land Group and also the Owner/Operator of Lake Dog • Oconee and Lucky Lady Boutique which you can find at the Greensboro Antique Mall. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and grew up in East Cobb County before moving with her family to a farm in Alpharetta, GA. Marybeth grew up as an avid Equestrian competing locally in Hunter-Jumper and then showing her own horses in all levels of the Arabian circuit in Show Hack, Hunter Pleasure, Hunt Seat Equitation and Country English Pleasure.
Marybeth has held many roles in the real estate industry since 1999 - Pre/Post Closer and Disbursement for O’Kelley & Sorohan, Closing Coordinator and Office Manager for BriarRose / Destination Real Estate & Marketing, Director of Internet Marketing for Hilton Head Lakes, Sales Assistant for her husband at Reynolds Lake Oconee along with many other experiences.
Marybeth resides on Lake Oconee with her husband, Chris, and they have three children, Cody of Athens, GA, Connor currently attending the University of Georgia and Jackson currently attending Gatewood Schools. Their boys are sports fanatics which keeps them all busy between golf, football, lacrosse, baseball, and wrestling. Their family is completed by 3 dogs – Dixie (Yellow Labrador), Harley (German Shorthaired Pointer), and the newest member, Oakley (English Pointer).
Marybeth volunteers countless hours to Gatewood Schools lending her time and talents to help improve the school and campus for today’s students and for generations to come. When not at their son’s sporting events, she enjoys taking sunset cruises on the lake, nights by the fire pit, weekends browsing local boutiques and antique stores with friends, attending local events and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!
